YOU'VE BEEN OUT OF SCHOOL FOR YEARS, BUT

You already know
you’re going back.

The only question is when.

Or perhaps it's what to study or how to start. Ready to Return gives you a practical, personal plan to go forward and finally become a student again.

You have been thinking about this for a long time.

Maybe years. You bring it up to yourself every September when the new semester starts. You watch someone else’s graduation post and feel something you can’t quite name — not jealousy exactly. More like recognition. That could be me.

But every time you get close to doing something about it, a question stops you. And then another. And then life fills in the space where your plan should have been.

“I'm 37 and want to go back to school but my last two semesters in college yielded an awful GPA. I was not focused and failed classes because I couldn't keep up.”

Maybe you left school years ago and your grades were not good. You wonder if the door is even still open for someone like you. You wonder if you’ll be judged. You wonder if it’s too late to be asking what you want to do with your life.

“All my adult life has been in survival mode. Rather than thinking of what I’d like to do, I’ve lived a life doing what I have to do just to work and make money.”

And even if you figure all of that out (the what and the where) you still don’t know how you would actually make it work — the job, the children, the house, the relationship... the person you already are, with all the obligations that already fill every hour.

“I was pulled in a million different directions at once. I just need some time to study. I’m so frustrated and overwhelmed. I don’t know how to do this.”

None of this is weakness. It is the natural result of trying to solve a multi-part problem without a plan. You don’t need more time. You need someone to sit down with you and work through each piece — systematically, practically, honestly.

That is exactly what Ready to Return does.

The Workshop

Ready to Return

Ready to Return is a live, practical workshop for women who are ready to go back to school but feel stuck on the how.

In one focused session, we'll work through the exact things that keep most women stuck at the starting line. You'll leave with an actionable, personal plan that can immediately take you forward.

This isn’t about
being inspired.
It’s about having a plan.

One negative word can crush inspiration, but a plan will stand. Ready to Return gives you the permission you seek, a path for moving forward, and a plan for overcoming all the things standing between you and your first day back.

What We Cover

Four Things You Need to Start

Remove the obstacles and build your personal action plan.

CONFIDENCE

When to Return

“I’m not sure how I will be judged or whether I’ll be denied acceptance.”

This is the doubt that keeps most women circling for years: the age, the past record, the fear of what others will think. What is it for you? We'll identify it and address it so you can move forward with boldness even if you're uncertain about some things.

CLARITY

What to Study

“I'm not sure what I want to major in. I looked at the different programs, and nothing excites me.”

This is what happens when you're looking for evidence outside yourself instead of starting from what you already know about you. This workshop gives you that opportunity to truly look at you and guidance to choose the right path for you.

direction

How to Apply

“I don’t know where to start and I don’t want to spend money on applications if the likelihood of being accepted is not possible.”

The application process can be daunting, especially for mature-entry students. On paper it might look like you don't qualify, but your academic record and employment history don’t tell the full story of what you can do. Ready to Return gives you a framework to navigate this strategically.

STRATEGY

What to Do Next

“I was pulled in a million different directions at once. I just need some time to study. I’m so frustrated and overwhelmed. I don’t know how to do this.”

Without a documented plan, insight fades by the next busy week. We bring it all together in one place, broken down, to immediately get you started and making progress.

Who This Is For

This workshop is for you if…

This workshop is probably not for you if you are already enrolled, settled into a study rhythm, and performing well. It is designed specifically for the woman who is still at the starting line. If you are already mid-programme and struggling, reach out separately. There is a different kind of support for that season.

What You Leave With

Decisions. Clarity. A way forward.

By the end of Ready to Return, you will have produced (not just heard) solid:

01

Answers

A name for what’s been stopping you, and permission to move forward without all the pieces.

02

Decisions

A chosen field of study and a start date, so you can stop second-guessing yourself and start applying.

03

A Map

Clarity on your entry route and guidance on how to meet various application requirements.

04

A Plan

Real, doable next steps that will actually make a difference and to take you forward.

05

Progress

Measurable distance from where you were. No more paralysis; the starting line will be behind you.

YOU'RE NOT ALONE

They've been where you are.

These are real words from real women.

“I started freshman year failing everything and finished out summa cum laude. I promise you that no matter where you’re at right now, you’re going to get through it. Don’t let imposter syndrome get to you. You belong on that stage.”
— A woman who made it through
“I was a teen mom that dropped out of college 20 years ago. Today I graduate.”
— A woman on the other side of the same decision you’re facing
“First semester back after 10 years out of school — completed. So proud of myself and can’t wait to see my final grade.”
— A woman who started anyway

You’re not alone where you stand. But you can be one of the ones who moves.

HI, I'M OLA

I'm here to help.

I know what it's like to be afraid to say what I want because it doesn't look like what I do. I know what it is like to be compelled by a dream yet stay stuck in planning mode, stalling for perfection and distraction and doubt.

I also know what it is like to finally move, though I didn't feel ready, and finally feel that sense of alignment, purpose and progress.

Now, I love learning, but I've had my fair share of challenges and setbacks, including failure. I've also had my wins — getting accepted to programs I didn't qualify for and graduating from programs I wasn't equipped for.

And I've helped many others do the same. I love to see them win!

My systems help students learn effectively without struggle and frustration. If you want to go back to school in a way that flows, I'd love to show you what works — what can work for you.

I see you and I believe in you. You will flourish.

You might be wondering...

I left school years ago with a bad GPA. Is this still for me?

Yes, and specifically so. A difficult academic past is not an automatic disqualification from returning, and this workshop will help you understand how to present your situation honestly and strategically. Many women have returned successfully after years away and after genuinely poor early performance. There is a right way to approach it.

I don’t even know what I want to study. Is it too early to come?

No. This is one of the first things we will tackle. Not knowing what you want to study is one of the most common and most paralysing places to be. The workshop gives you a process for working through that — not by forcing a decision, but by looking at you and your situation in a structured way that produces clarity.

I don't meet the standard academic requirements. Is there still a way in?

Yes — this is exactly what Ready to Return covers. Many women return through mature-entry routes. We'll lay out how to represent your real experience and knowledge, not just the grades from years ago.

What if I can’t attend live?

Everyone who registers will have access to the recording. You can watch at your own pace and replay as often as you’d like.

It’s about time.

You’ve been thinking about this long enough. Future you is waiting. Let's go!
